Stamper's Club projects

This is project 1 of 3 we will be doing at Stamper's Club tomorrow night. It is the emboss resist technique. On glossy card stock, I used Versamark to stamp En Francais and the butterfly and bee from the Nature walk set. Then I brayered Pear Pizazz ink over it to reveal the images. Maybe we can add a bit of Dazzling Diamonds glitter on the butterfly...thoughts?
I will upload the other 2 projects once I design them. :)

No title comes to mind...

I'm not sure what to call this one. I used Broadsheet Alpha for the background, my FREE saleabration set Funky Four (the tree) and the sentiment from Trendy Trees. I added buttons and ribbon.

A birthday card for Jen

Ok, so the scan is a wee crooked, but after a few attempts, this was the best one.
I made this for my friend's birthday. Minimal layers, the way she likes. I used the new Vintage Springtime designer paper from the Occasions mini catalogue. I made the flower using the Fun Flowers die and I scrunched up the petals...added vintage brads to finish the card.
Thanks for stopping by!

Rock On!

In keeping with the sponged edges around the embossed background...
I used Extreme Elements and Grunge Rock for this card (page 89 and 87 respectively). The colours are Basic Black, Pacific Point, Rich Razzleberry and Old Olive. I slashed up a piece of Old Olive striped grosgrain ribbon and stapled it on. Oh, and I took my scissors and distressed the edges...ripped them up a bit. I had fun with this card and made a couple to have on hand.
Here's another version:

Owl you need is love...

Every month I get together with some scrapping friends for our monthly crop...yesterday was the day. I created about 10 cards, and these 2 are my faves. I used the Love Letter designer paper...the colours are Crumb Cake, Black, Vanilla and Cherry Cobbler.
The first card looks so Gothic to me. I sponged black ink around the edges of the Cherry Cobbler card stock. The second card is based on the Mojo Monday sketch.
I sure had fun with my owl punch...I hadn't used it in quite a while. I also really like the patterns of the designer paper (page 173 in the catalogue). The sentiment "live laugh love" was a set I chose for FREE as my one of my Saleabration sets...it's on page 183.
If you would like to learn how to make cards and earn free product from the catalogue, please contact me! I would love to share with you!

Enjoy

This is one of my thank you cards for this month. I used the Elegant Soiree designer paper, Soft Suede card stock and Crumb Cake card stock. I inked the flower and sentiment in Soft Suede ink. The ribbon is the old Soft Suede polka dot ribbon, I just used the other side of it.

happy Valentine's Day!

This is one of the workshop cards I've been doing the past few weeks, and I think it is fitting for Valentine's Day! I love the pearls and the black satin ribbon. This stamp set is Bliss, one of the FREE Saleabration choices.

Sense of Time

Hello everyone! I have noticed, over the past few months, my style has definitely changed. I am really enjoying more vintage images, though I have always preferred earth tones. I finally broke down and got the Sense of Time stamp set (page 127 in the catalogue) and this is my first attempt with it. I used the new game pieces from the Occasions Mini...it looks so cool! The background is stamped with the En Francais background stamp then stamped over with the cogs from the Sense of Time set. The colours are Crumb Cake, Soft Suede and Whisper White.
